The Company BDM was founded in 2003 by Bernhard Lukassen, Paul Palaszewski und Dieter Hofbäck
Our vision is to supply business intelligence to small and mid sized companies.
BDM understands business intelligence as collecting, treatment, and concentration
of data comming from several software systems like ERP, CRM, Production Planing aso.
in a specialized database - called the Datawarehouse.
A Datawarehouse is specialized and optimized for analysis and reporting.
It utilizes OLAP technology (online analytical processing) to deliver
reports and analysis for the company.
Our main goals were from the beginning a handy usage of the tools
and to support the most used tool in company controlling of the world
- MS Excel - to do reporting and analysis.
The advantage of the BDM technology is the possiblity for the users to
define their reports without being a database specialist.
Today not only large enterprises utilize a bulk of information systems
collecting data to be analyzed. Our target is to deliver tools and consulting to
small and mid sized companies and provide tailored business intelligence solutions.
We achive these goals with a small, yet highly skilled team of software developers, consultants
and a network of parter companies.
